Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026. Applies to Biriki Games and all of its apps on iOS and Android, including Hera Rush, Starshard, Square Blast, Neon Tile Beats, Bloom Drop, Paper Doll, Crayon Buddies, Whoosh, The Last Monster: Escape and Tidy Crate: Sort & Match.

Biriki Games (“we”, “us”) is an independent studio building games for iOS and Android. We care about your privacy and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what happens to data when you use our apps.

The short version

  • We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
  • Our games run offline. Your saves and progress stay on your device, and may be backed up to your own iCloud or Google account so they survive a reinstall. We never receive them.
  • We show ads through Google AdMob and use privacy-friendly analytics. These are described below.

Information collected by third parties

Advertising — Google AdMob

Our games may display ads served by Google AdMob. To show ads and measure their performance, AdMob may collect device information and identifiers (such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, and general usage/diagnostics data). On iOS, personalized advertising uses your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you’ll still see ads, but non-personalized ones. On Android, AdMob may use your device’s Android advertising ID; where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) we ask for your consent first, and you can change that choice at any time from the game’s settings.

Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can learn about Google’s advertising practices and controls at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how our games perform (for example, how many runs are played or which screens are used). This data is anonymous and is not used to identify you.

Crash reporting — Sentry

Some of our games use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to collect crash reports and error diagnostics, so we can find and fix bugs. A report may include technical details such as the device model, operating system version, and what happened in the game right before the error. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising. Sentry’s handling of this data is governed by the Sentry Privacy Policy.

Save backup — iCloud and Google

Some of our games back up your progress so it isn’t lost when you delete the app or switch devices. On iOS this uses Apple’s iCloud key-value storage in your own iCloud account; on Android it uses Android’s built-in backup to your own Google account. The backup contains only game progress (such as levels reached and items unlocked). It is stored by Apple or Google under your account and is never sent to us. You can turn it off in your device’s iCloud or backup settings.

App stores — Apple and Google

Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. Apple and Google may collect data as described in their own privacy policies, including for purchases and for crash reporting you opt into through your device.

Apps made for children — Paper Doll and Crayon Buddies

Paper Doll: Dress Up (Kağıt Bebek) is designed for children, and is held to a stricter standard than the rest of this policy: it contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no crash-reporting SDKs. It currently offers no in-app purchases; if optional extras are ever added, purchases will always sit behind a parental gate. It works fully offline and collects no data at all — from anyone. Everything created in the app (saved outfits, settings, play-time counter) stays on the device, and may be mirrored to the family’s own iCloud account as described above; it is never sent to us. The app never asks for personal information and contains no links out of the app without a parental gate. The third-party sections above (AdMob, analytics, Sentry) do not apply to Paper Doll.

Crayon Buddies: Kids Coloring follows the same standard: no advertising, no third-party analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, and it collects no data. Its single optional in-app purchase (unlocking all coloring packs) always sits behind a parental gate and is processed by Apple or Google. Pictures and progress stay on the device and may be backed up to the family’s own iCloud or Google account as described above. The third-party sections above (AdMob, analytics, Sentry) do not apply to Crayon Buddies.

Children — our other games

Our other games are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where required, ads are configured to be non-personalized for users in this category.

Your choices

  • You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising.
  • On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by device).
  • Deleting the app removes all local saves and data from your device. A backup in your own iCloud or Google account may restore your progress if you reinstall; to erase progress completely, use the game’s “Reset progress” option in Settings where available.

Data we hold

Because we don’t run accounts or servers for our games, we do not hold a personal profile of you. Requests about data handled by third parties (Google, Apple, Sentry) should be directed to those providers under their policies linked above.

Changes

We may update this policy as our games evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
