Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026. Applies to Biriki Games and all of its apps, including Hera Rush and Starshard.

Biriki Games (“we”, “us”) is an independent studio building games for iOS. We care about your privacy and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what happens to data when you use our apps.

The short version

  • We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
  • Our games run offline. Your saves and progress stay on your device.
  • We show ads through Google AdMob and use privacy-friendly analytics. These are described below.

Information collected by third parties

Advertising — Google AdMob

Our games may display ads served by Google AdMob. To show ads and measure their performance, AdMob may collect device information and identifiers (such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, and general usage/diagnostics data). On iOS, personalized advertising uses your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you’ll still see ads, but non-personalized ones.

Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can learn about Google’s advertising practices and controls at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how our games perform (for example, how many runs are played or which screens are used). This data is anonymous and is not used to identify you.

Crash reporting — Sentry

Some of our games use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to collect crash reports and error diagnostics, so we can find and fix bugs. A report may include technical details such as the device model, operating system version, and what happened in the game right before the error. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising. Sentry’s handling of this data is governed by the Sentry Privacy Policy.

Apple

Apps are distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect data as described in Apple’s own privacy policy, including for in-app purchases and crash reporting you opt into through iOS.

Children

Our games are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where required, ads are configured to be non-personalized for users in this category.

Your choices

  • You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising.
  • Deleting the app removes all local saves and data from your device.

Data we hold

Because we don’t run accounts or servers for our games, we do not hold a personal profile of you. Requests about data handled by third parties (Google, Apple) should be directed to those providers under their policies linked above.

Changes

We may update this policy as our games evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
