What's new

Version 1.2 ·

Your progress is now backed up to iCloud. Reinstall the game or pick up a new device signed in to the same Apple Account, and your shelves are right where you left them.

New in Settings: Reset progress, with a confirmation step. Cozy Pass, boosters and your sound settings are kept.

Past level 36 the chapter bar, your star total and the leaderboard now keep counting.

The daily reward now grows through the week, with the biggest one on day 7.

A trophy button on the home screen opens the leaderboard.

1.1The difficulty curve keeps climbing now.

Past level 20 the game used to stop getting harder — boards grew, but they stayed easy. Every board is now measured before you ever see it and chosen to fit the curve, so the game keeps asking a little more of you. Every fourth level is still a breather.

Also in this update:

  • Every level starts with one free shuffle. Undo stays free and unlimited.
  • A proper launch screen instead of a black one.
  • Ad delivery fixed. If you'd rather have none at all, Cozy Pass removes them for good.
  • Tidier main menu.

The game

What is Tidy Crate?

A quiet 3D sorting puzzle for one thumb. Every shelf holds three things. Tap a shelf and you pick up whatever is on top; tap another and you set it down. Get three of a kind onto one shelf and it tidies itself away. Clear the board and the level is done.

How it plays

  • Take your time. Nothing is counting down. Put the phone away in the middle of a level and the board will be exactly where you left it.
  • Never stuck. If a board runs out of moves, a shuffle rearranges it — same items, new order, nothing lost. Shuffles are always free, and so is undo. Always.
  • Always solvable. Every board is generated and then proven solvable before you ever see it. There is no such thing as a dead level.
  • A place, not a screen. Three rooms to tidy: the Pantry, the Sunroom and the Attic. The light shifts as you work through a chapter — morning, evening, night.
  • Something to keep. Twenty items to collect, one shelf at a time, and a Game Center ladder for stars if you want one.

Phone-first, one thumb

Hand-built 3D shelves, warm light and a soft click for every move — no fireworks, no chasing. Levels last a couple of minutes and the game plays fine with the sound off, or with no internet connection at all.
