The game

What is Hop Pixel?

A color puzzle hiding inside a pixel picture. Each level is a 16×20 board of neon tiles with a line of bunnies waiting below it. Tap a bunny and it hops onto the rail around the board, popping every tile of its own color it can reach. Pop them all and the mosaic is finished.

How it plays

  • Only the outside can be hit. A bunny pops the nearest tile of its color on the surface. Tiles buried under other colors have to wait.
  • The order is the puzzle. Send a color too early and it parks in the waiting rack. When the rack is full, the board is stuck.
  • Same colors merge. A bunny that joins one of its own color in the rack adds its shots to that one instead of taking a new slot.
  • It gets tighter. Colors climb from three to eight, the lanes narrow from five to three, and bomb and lightning bunnies join along the way.
  • 52 pictures, then more. Every finished mosaic goes into the album, and the puzzles keep getting tighter after the 52nd.

Every level can be solved

Before a level ships, a solver plays it through. If the solver cannot clear it, that level does not exist. When you get stuck, a different order will work.

Fair play

No timers and no energy bar. Progress is saved to iCloud, so it survives reinstalling the app. Short ads play between levels and are optional elsewhere, and a one-time purchase removes them for good. There is also a color + symbol mode for color-blind players. Available in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Korean.
